David Aaker is the Vice Chairman of Prophet (a global consultancy around brand, customer experience, and digital transformation) and Professor Emeritus of Marketing Strategy at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

 He has published more than 100 articles and 17 books that have sold well over 1 million copies and have been translated into 18 languages.

His books include Managing Brand Equity, Building Strong Brands, Brand Leadership, Brand Portfolio Strategy, Strategic Market Management, Brand Relevance, Making Competitors Irrelevant, Aaker on Branding and Creating Signature Stories.

A recognized authority on brand strategy, he has been an active consultant and speaker throughout the world.

And interesting fact, he is originally from Fargo North Dakota!
