The Host’s Perspective:

The pace of change in modern marketing as well as the growing complexity of it is dizzying. Marketing is changing so quickly that in a recent poll, 76% of marketers reported that marketing has changed more in the last two years than the previous 50. As a result, businesses of all kinds are getting increasingly distracted by the endless tactics available to them to acquire new customers and grow. Fortunately there are a lot of great, new books about modern marketing that can help you be smart about marketing.

Magnetic is one of them. But it’s also different from all the others I’ve read.

Magnetic has so much sorely needed common sense that it almost hurts. If you’ve ever heard the expression about being hit by a two-by-four, that’s what reading Magnetic is like. And like its author, the book has lots of personality and humor.

The book is loaded with powerful strategies that businesses of any size or type can use to attract new customers. The trick is to do those things that harness the power of the single most important factor in buying decisions: positive word of mouth and referrals from happy customers.

The book will help you simplify and clarify how you think about your business to have your entire team become more focused, efficient, and effective in doing those few vitally important things that matters most in driving growth and sustaining success.
